Mimosa is pleased to announce its selection as a finalist in the category of “5G Trailblazer” at the 2017 World Communications Awards (WCA) ceremony for global telecom operators and service providers.

Nominated alongside industry giants, Telstra Corporation (Australia) and Ooredoo (Qatar), Mimosa was selected for its innovations in delivering the first commercially-viable 5G fixed wireless network architecture that delivers the scalability, throughput and capacity needed for the new communication standard. At the awards banquet, held in London on November 28th, over 500 of the industry’s most senior executives were in attendance, including Mimosa’s Director of EMEA Sales, John Speakman.

Launched in 1999, the WCA are recognized as one of the most prestigious awards ceremonies in the global telecom industry, synonymous with innovation, merit and outstanding performance in the telecoms field.
