Absolutely! The C6 seamlessly integrates with Mimosa’s A6 Access Point and can be deployed alongside the C6x, giving operators the ultimate flexibility to tailor their networks with either a Line of Sight or Non-Line of Sight solution. Whether in dense urban environments, rugged rural terrain, or hard-to-reach locations, this combination empowers operators to scale efficiently while maximizing cost-performance.
The C6 supports Line-of-Sight (LOS), Near-Line-of-Sight (nLOS), and Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) connections. While NLOS performance varies by environment, the C6 leverages 4 spatial streams and 8T8R chains to enhance connectivity in obstructed conditions.
Although this is especially difficult to quantify for the broad range of nLOS and NLOS installations that the C6 will support, our network design tool (LINK) allows customers to view predicted performance and heat maps based on a wide range of factors.
Although Mimosa's initial support will be limited to PTMP, we anticipate releasing PTP support in the coming months to augment the PTP support provided by our C6x and B6x (Links) radios.
