C5c

Unmatched Price Performance for Global Fixed Wireless Markets

C5c has been designed specifically to handle long-range backhaul (PTP), point-to-multipoint (PTMP) GigaPoP links, and PTMP MicroPoP links impaired by vegetation. Connectorized by design, the C5c works with many popular antennas, delivering up to 500 Mbps (PTMP)/700 Mbps (PTP) of TCP throughput.

Ultimate Flexibility and Speed

The Mimosa C5c provides incredible flexibility and scalability for wireless access, offering the fastest speeds and seamless connectivity for both short and long-range applications in either a Point-to-Point (PTP) or Point-to-Multipoint solution. The C5c is not available in the United States.

Flexible

Flexible Antenna Options

Connect to virtually any dual polarization antenna to custom-engineer longer distance client links. The C5c supports 2x2:2 MIMO dual connector RP-SMA for easy cabled antenna connectivity and can be mounted to any pole via low cost clamps, or easily clipped onto antenna supporting compatible clip-on mounting bracket systems.

Efficient

Spectrum Reuse Synchronization

Mimosa’s proprietary Spectrum Reuse Synchronization (SRS) technology ensures precise timing control and dynamic upstream bandwidth allocation, resulting in significantly higher overall network bandwidth utilization and reduced latencies.

Case Study

XCIEN - Mexico

XCIEN, one of Mexico’s largest Wireless Internet Service Providers, operates a backbone network covering over 4,000 square kilometers across eight metro areas. Committed to delivering reliable, high-speed internet in both dense urban and challenging rural areas, XCIEN avoids the costs and delays associated with fiber deployment by using wireless links, significantly reducing installation times. By deploying Mimosa’s fiber-fast fixed wireless solutions, XCIEN efficiently meets the growing demand for ultra-broadband speeds. This strategy has led to substantial growth, especially in cities lacking fiber access, with projections to serve over 3,000 business services and 1,000 enterprise clients by year-end, achieving higher speeds and a 25% cost reduction.
