SEC DataCom A/S Teams with Mimosa to Expand Coverage

Santa Clara, CA – November 3, 2016 – Mimosa Networks, Inc., the leader in cloud-managed, hybrid fiber-wireless networks for the post-copper era, announced today that is has appointed SEC DataCom A/S as a distributor of Mimosa products. SEC DataCom A/S is a Nordic-based value-added IT Distributor of products and solutions in the security, storage, networking and communications fields.

The distribution agreement between SEC DataCom and Mimosa covers the Scandanavian region, including Denmark, Finland, Greenland, Norway and Sweden. Mimosa will have direct access to SEC DataCom’s wide reseller base, which includes leading Value-Added Resellers, System Integrators and Service Providers, stretching across all vertical markets.

Deploying Massive MIMO technology, Mimosa designs and manufactures outdoor gigabit wireless platforms for service providers demanding fibre-fast networks. It directly addresses the ‘last mile’ challenges of costly wireline service delivery, enabling scalable wireless deployments in densely populated urban and suburban areas.

With over 20 years’ experience in Scandinavian markets, SEC DataCom is turning its focus to bringing broadband coverage to outlying areas where telecommunications companies have struggled to provide high-speed broadband connections. Mimosa’s innovative solutions will complement SEC DataCom’s extensive range of networking and communcations products to expand broadband coverage to areas without established fiber connections.
